West Midlands Anti-Slavery Network is very proud to announce that it has been jointly awarded this years Thomson Reuters* Stop Slavery Award for Collaboration.
Our win was in respect of our development of a multi-agency anti-slavery network in the West Midlands, driving collaboration to end modern slavery & human trafficking by identifying gaps, influencing change & facilitating solutions, even during the COVID19 pandemic.
We received the award jointly with Ulula who developed an SMS-based platform to increase the transparency of mining in the Eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo through incident reporting & monitoring.
